Apple Valley Blossom Festival Dessert Party & BBQ
Apple Valley's famous desserts are showcased during the Blossom Festival Dessert Party. Enjoy fresh baked pies, cobblers & Crisps. 50 different varieties of jams, syrups, pepper jellies and pie fillings, lots of free samples. Country BBQ serving cherry-wood smoked ribs, pulled pork and chicken sandwiches, all served with pear coleslaw and cider baked beans.
JULY 16-17
Hood River Fruit Loop Cherry Celebration
The Fruit Loop celebrates the cherry harvest of over 4000 tons of cherries. While visiting Hood River stop in to Apple Valley Country Store for an adventure for your taste buds! We'll be doing our old fashioned Country BBQ featuring cherry-wood smoked ribs, pulled pork sandwiches or chicken serve with our homemade pear coleslaw and apple cider baked beans. For dessert, try our famous Gravenstein Apple Dumplings stuffed with sugar an spices and wrapped in flaky pikecrust baked to perfection and topped with our special cinnamon sauce. Pear Dumpling Days & Country BBQ
While touring the Fruit Loop celebrating the pear harvest, stop in for an old fashioned country BBQ at Apple Valley. Enjoy cherry-wood smoked ribs, pulled pork sandwiches or chicken, served with homemade pear coleslaw and apple cider baked beans. Try some spectacular pear desserts including our delectable Pear Dumplings! Each pear is cored and stuffed with sugar and spices, wrapped in flaky pie crust, baked to golden perfection and topped with our special syrup. Come stir the pot! We're making apple butter the old fashioned way in an antique copper pot over an open fire. This is the only weekend we serve hot apple butter with our signature fried biscuits.
